About this ride
Riding out in October captures Ooty at its absolute finest. As a group, you will transition from open plains into the quiet, sun-dappled canopies of the Bandipur and Mudumalai forests. Cruising together at a steady pace, you might spot deer, elephants, or peacocks right by the roadside. The real test of coordination begins at the foothills, where the road tilts upward into the Nilgiris. Navigating the legendary Kalhatty Ghat section requires tight discipline as your group leans into 36 consecutive hairpin turns. The air grows noticeably colder with every kilometer you climb, filling your helmets with the scent of pine and wet earth. Reaching the top rewards the group with panoramic views of valleys completely carpeted in thick fog and brilliant green tea estates. The days are spent exploring hidden forest trails and scenic viewpoints, while the crisp October nights are made for parking the bikes, firing up a barbecue, and sharing road stories around a campfire.

Arrive at goSTOPS OOTY by 13:30 for check-in and rest. At 15:00, ride to Doddabetta Peak. At 16:30, visit the Government Botanical Garden. At 19:00, enjoy the group bonfire at the hostel.

Depart at 09:00 for the Pine Forest Highway. Visit Pykara Waterfalls at 10:00, followed by boating at Pykara Lake at 11:30. Stop for lunch and visit the 9th Mile Shooting Point at 14:00. Return to Ooty town at 17:00 for cafe hopping.

A full-face helmet and appropriate riding gear are mandatory. Participants must follow traffic rules, the assigned formation, hand signals, captains, and marshals. Racing, rash driving, illegal drugs, and drink-and-drive are prohibited.
A slot is confirmed only after the organizer verifies the required payment. Any remaining balance must be paid by the published due date through the approved payment channel.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the published deadline and organizer commitments already made for accommodation, meals, and activities. Confirmation payments may be non-refundable.
Replacement or transfer of a confirmed slot requires prior organizer approval. The replacement participant must satisfy all ride requirements. Unauthorized slot transfers are not permitted.
Participants must respect property rules, room allocations, fellow guests, and privacy. Smoking inside rooms, illegal substances, harassment, and disruptive conduct are prohibited.
